  Dogs In Need

If for some reason the surgery for a particular dog doesn't occur within 60 days, the funds donated for that surgery will go back into our general fund to help the next dog in need.  Thank you for helping us help all these dogs in need!

Roxy is home and the surgery was great. She is a little sore, but other than that everything's good. Here's a picture of her at home. Thank you!

1-3-14  Update
Roxy is scheduled for her 1st surgery, Monday 1-6-14.
We will give updates as we get them! Paws crossed!

JANUARY 2, 2014
FUNDING CLOSED!

Thank you all for helping Roxy get her surgery! We are hoping to get Roxy's surgery scheduled as soon as possible. What a great beginning to a New Year!

12-16-13
Please meet Roxy, a Shepherd that was listed on Craigslist and saved by a 16-year old young man. Roxy is only 8 months old, has severe bilateral hip dysplasia and a ruptured ACL and will need 3 surgeries to correct all of these....  When the owners of Roxy found out how much it would cost ($2707) they were devastated by the thought of having to euthanize Roxy because they simply don't have the funds to pay for her surgeries.    When we heard their story from their 16-year old son, it touched our hearts that this young man is trying so hard to help his dog.  We realize that funds are always short and that orthopedic surgeries are so hard to raise funds for because of the costs involved; but we have pledged to try and help.  We love to encourage young folks who are getting involved in animal welfare, and this young man is certainly on his way.
Thank you so much for any help you can offer.
